Our Story
Since 2008, Learning Strategies has grown in response to the changing needs of the communities we serve—building local expertise, broadening our services, and extending our impact.

2008
Learning Strategies began operating in Vietnam in 2008 in response to unmet demand for high-quality services, particularly for children and families. With professional resources scarce and demand high, we initially brought experienced specialists from overseas to help meet that need. This planted the seed from which the organisation began to grow.
2011 onwards
In 2011, we brought our operations together in a dedicated Centre with a largely international workforce. Over the following years, our focus shifted towards developing Vietnamese professionals and building the foundations of the team we have today. As demand grew, we expanded into adolescent and adult mental health, counselling, clinical assessment, and professional development, while broadening team expertise, strengthening leadership and management, and investing in training and mentoring.
Today
Today, we are a team of fully qualified, closely supervised professionals working to international standards adapted to the Vietnamese context. Alongside our direct work with a growing range of clients, we are now building comprehensive systems of training, internship, and wider dissemination. Through this work, we extend our impact by sharing a sustainable model of high-quality practice with the wider community.
